Main responsibilities:
- Conducting tests in the data domain (Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Analysis Services, Power BI, MDS) in accordance with the descriptions in User Stories
- Recording test results in Azure DevOps in line with the process
- Analyzing test results and providing feedback to developers and SMEs
- Developing test scenarios (unit, integration, regression)
- Analyzing tests, identifying and implementing test automation and QA process improvements
- Proposing improvements in the area of testing
- Identifying patterns in recurring errors
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data testing
- Knowledge of Azure Databricks (notebook, job, Spark cluster)
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory (pipelines, datasets, linked services, monitoring)
- Knowledge of Azure Synapse (Dedicated pool)
- Familiarity with tabular models (Analysis Services) and Power BI service (data lineage, semantic model, connections)
- Proficiency in SQL (data quality verification, writing test queries)
- Understanding of ETL processes
- Familiarity with test automation and CI/CD tools (especially Azure DevOps, Test Plans)
- English proficiency at min. B2 level
