Main responsibilities:
- Maintaining, tuning, and optimizing the data platform and analytical areas.
- Diagnosing the root causes of production errors and preparing improvements.
- Monitoring a large BI environment (500 TB scale) – for about 7 days a month, you will be responsible for system oversight in the morning hours (05:00 – 07:30), finishing work at 13:00 on weekdays. The schedule is mutually agreed upon with the team one month in advance.
- Analyzing and resolving irregularities affecting ETL/ELT processes.
- Participating in ensuring 24/7/365 system availability by performing on-call duties for about 7 days a month and responding to critical situations. The schedule is mutually agreed upon with the team one month in advance.
Requirements:
- Min. 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Readiness for on-call support several days a month (flexible schedule agreed with the team).
- Very good knowledge of the operation and optimization of technologies within the Azure data platform (Data Factory, Databricks, SQL Server).
- Experience in data processing using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
- Knowledge of Power BI.
- English proficiency at min. B2 level.
We appreciate:
- Practical experience in designing and developing solutions on the Azure data platform.
- Experience in building data processing systems on Azure.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP203).
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate.
