Main responsibilities:
- Monitoring and ensuring data quality across systems and reports.
- Designing and executing data quality tests (completeness, consistency, accuracy).
- Performing data verification between different systems (source vs. target).
- Analyzing and identifying data errors and anomalies.
- Collaborating with Data Engineering, BI, and business teams to resolve data issues.
- Participating in data validation processes within ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Creating and maintaining SQL queries for data quality control.
- Automating data quality tests (e.g., using Python or dedicated tools).
- Documenting processes, tests, and identified issues.
- Supporting the implementation of data quality standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- Min. 3 years of experience in data testing.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Databricks (notebooks, jobs, Spark clusters).
- Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory (pipelines, datasets, linked services, monitoring).
- Knowledge of Azure Synapse (Dedicated pool).
- Knowledge of tabular models (Analysis Services) and Power BI (data lineage, semantic models, connectivity).
- Proficiency in SQL (data quality verification, test query preparation).
- Solid understanding of ETL processes.
- Experience with test automation tools and CI/CD (specifically Azure DevOps, TestPlans).
- English proficiency at min. B2 level.
